Subject: Billet Grill Help IP: Logged
Message: I'm having trouble locating a billet grill for my 99 dak.
I talked with a rep from Stull, and she said that they do not make a lower bumper part for it, they only make the top part.
Does anyone know of any other companies that make polished billet grills for the dakota both top and bottom, and that has the bottom peice BEHIND the 3 support bars on the bumper cover and not over them??
Please lemme know! Thanks,
-Dan

Message: Um yea, they do make them. You can find them on ebay, i think trenz sells them, they are in multiple ad pages of truckin' and mini truckin. But if you are to order one off of ebay make sure that it includes the hood lock relocator. Otherwise you pop your grill and you can't stick your hand in the grill to open the hood. The relocater puts it like on a wire pull kinda thing. Hope that helps you out.

Message: Yeah, I'm not having trouble locating the top part of the billet grill. It's the bottom bumper part. The 3 little support rails in the opening on the lower bumper between the fog lights is what I don't want covered by the billet grill and the only ones I can find that fit a 99 Dak are the ones that go over those rails it make it look like one big piece.
I really don't wanna go mesh, I think billet looks sooooo much cleaner. Anyone else know???
