 Subject: chrome alloy vs polished alloy?

I am looking at the American Racing Bajas. They offer it in either polished alloy or chrome, which is going to stand up better to Michigan weather? I'm definately going to buy one or the other but there is a $200 difference, chrome being the most.

I bought the polished Al ones and the road salt pitted them in about 6 months. You can go with the polished ones, but better clean them religiously.

My friend got the polished AR wheels and yes they require alot of cleaning and often too. I would go with chrome, especially if its only $200 more for the whole set.
