you might not have to, but if you are lowering it for better cornering ability, it would help out dramaticly.
if you dont want to do it because of money, dont do it and see if the shock bottoms out. if so you will have to change them.

kota dude if you are loking into lowering it got some -1 springs for you.im selling them for 80 buks. i have used them for baout 500 miles. u just gotta order soem lower control arms.
