Message: i just put an ss main grille in yesterday and now the valence part looks so boring. i was just wondering how much work it is to install a lower one? do you have to remove the whole bumper or what?

Message: The guy that helped me install mine had pretty long fingers and he reached up between the bumper and put the clips on without removing the bumper. My hands are bigger and I would have had to remove the bumper.

Message: Installing the lower SS's are a pain, but definitely do-able without removing the bumper cover.
Overall though it may be easier to pull the bolts and drop the cover down a little. I ended up not pulling the cover, but needed to use various channel locks, pliers, and screwdrivers to seat a couple of the clips.
