I have a keystone super pursuit style front bumper cover for my 2000 dakota and couldn't find a grill mesh kit for it or even a sheet of it so I could make it myself. If anyone knows where I can obtain either or give me a reply. thanks

Depends on where you are. In the Northeast, Lowes or Home Depot building supply stores have "gutter guard", which is a strip of mesh wide enough to use on the opening to the bumper.

i did that on my stock bumper. the gutter gaurd looks good for a few months. now after about 4 months it is getting dull. it's not rusting at all, just not shiny anymore. but at $5 what do you expect.
