Subject: SOFT COVER IP: Logged
Message: Does anyone have a soft button down bed cover with the factory plastic bedliner? I was wondering if the side rails would be able to be put on over the liner.

Message: I have a soft cover with under the rail liner and full tail gate protector. That's normally the cleanest looking setup and the easiest to install. A soft cover can still work even if your liner is over the rail, it will just be a more involved install and IMHO it won't look quite as clean. What will happen is they'll have to cut notches in your over the rail liner where the C-clamps for the cover need to go. For my old Ranger it cost I think an extra 50 bucks or so. And the guy at the accessory shop had a whole mess of tools lyin around to work with but it still took him and extra 45 minutes or so just to cut through the liner material.
