Subject: New to aftermarket wheels - Help!
IP: Logged

Message:
Ok, I'm finally done with my exterior, except for some nice wheels. It's a flame red reg cab, lowered 3-5, factory fender flares, color-matched handles and mirrors, and no decals. I absolutly love the 17" r/t wheels in silver, but they are a little smaller than I would like to go. The 20" r/t wheels are nice too, but they are too big for my taste. What I'm actually asking is, does anyone have any info on a set of 18" or 19" silver, 5 spoke wheels that fit on the dakota lug pattern? I want to stay away from chrome, they're a little out of my budget and I know they won't go with the rest of my truck. As for the spokes, I'd like them to be similar to the r/t style (sort of skinny with either one or two parts to each spoke, sorry if it doesn't make sence.)

I've looked all over the internet and through mags and have been able to find tons of wheels that match this description, but not one that will fit with six lugs.

Hope that it didn't sound too Ridiculous, but I've never delt with wheels before.

You could go with boyd coddington rims if you dont mind spending a lot!!! They make a 6 spoke rim that I haveon my truck, It is the "timeless 6" style thay also make a 5 spoke, called the "timeless 5", but I dont know if it is offered in a 6 by 4.5 lug pattern.

I've actually looked alot into them. What's the finish like? From what I've seen, they look sort of brushed. I want to stay away from chrome, they wont fit my theme.

They are billet aluminum. They are not as flashy as chrome, but are flashier than painted silver, but you could always paint them if you want!
