Message: Pearls are by far the easiest and they are in many factory finishes. Pearls give a metalic look and slightly change colors under different light. Kandys are offered by house of color and they are extremely hard to do and make look one color. It is like a colered clearcoat that when applied in many coats changes the color of the basecoat. This should not be preformed by novice. Instead house of kolor offers many kany basecoats which looks almost the same, but is alot easier to do. Marbelizer are pretty much a basecoat that stays wet for an extended amount of time so that you can put plastic over it and swirl the base to give it a marble effect. This isn't as hard as kandy but still shouldn't be taken on by a novice.

Message: thanks for the reply,
what about airbrushing,
can you use the same paint that you would use through a spray gun?
and what company makes a good clear coat?

Message: It depends on the brand of paint used and the airbrush, but most often you will need to thin the paint more to be able to get it through the smaller nozzle of an airbrush.

Message: Both of them are correct. As long as you aren't using a metalflake paint you can put it through an airbrush. Dupont has the best clearcoat on the market, in my opinion. I do it every day of the week and it hasn't ever let me down.
