Subject: Aftermarket Fuel Door IP: Logged
Message: Hey I am looking to buy an aluminum fuel door for my 02 black R/T. Has anyone painted/coated theirs a matching color? I smoked my tail lights, and want to keep the all black look, so I want to paint everything on it except for the screw heads. I just want to know if I just just spray paint it, or do I have to take it to a body shop. I'm trying to avoid the cost of professional painting. How durable would it be? Also, should I just spend the money to have it powdercoated? I also thought about having it black anodized. Any comments or thoughts are appreciated. I am looking at the Mopar one, beause my dad works for DC and I can get his discount. Thanks a lot.
