I am considering picking up a rollpan to replace my factory rear bumper. Does this need to be installed by a professional, or will I be able to do it myself?

easily done by yourself. you may need an extra set of hands to hold the pan level when you drill, so its a lot easier, but other thna that, install is simple.

This is an apc rollpan, i think, it is shi t !
Fits bad and flexes when going down the road. It had to be shimed nearly a 1/4". and the top is so wavy my tailgate rubs, but i can't lower it anymore, or the gap will be nearly 3/4"
This one is coming off and a sir micheals steel unit is going on

I have a sir michaels welded in, and it looks and fits awesome. It looked good before it was welded in too.

sir micheals.... welded.... fits nice. the only problem I had is the bottom liscence plate box keep bending up

Sir Micheal's here too - fits great. Clean - all the spaces, and corners are the same. Costs MAYBE $100 to paint?..I think mine was free though - insurance paid.

i have a few pics here http://www.mark-world.com/dakota/hires.html of my street scene panel which i had modified to cover up the winch access hole, i used a license plate light from sir michaels, it was easy to install on my own
