For the people that have installed custom grills (preferably the SS) what did you do so that you can pop the hood? The latch on my truck is like small and at the top. Did you put some extension on it or what?

when you buy the upper kit, it comes with an extension cable and handle and all the stuff you need to put it on. it's really an easy upgrade - took me about an hour to do upper and lower.
i think the valance was harder than the top.

i got mine at summit racing, but i had 10% so that helped, got it all for $175. i didnt use the hood latch, i just use a screw driver through the grille on the existing hood latch. i know im lazy, but it works just fine.
