Subject: Rubber for 20's
IP: Logged

Message:
Im looking to buy the 20" x 9" R/T style rims. I was wondering how wide of a tire can I put on them? TheTireRack recomended 255's but I see in a magazine someone with the regular R/T rims running 275's!

The wider the better but I don't want too much rubber hanging over the wheels.

If anyone has these rims or somthing close could you let me know what rubber they're wearing and/or show me a pic if you can.

Thanks for the help!

I have the stock 17's on my R/T. and I fit 275's on them, although it wasn't easy getting them on the rim. So as long as you have a low profile tire, you should be ok.

i've had 295/40 on the rears and fronts... little rubbing with my full hotchkis. if you are at stock height, you'll love it.

right now, lowered 2-3, i use 295/40 in the rear and 275/40 up front. perfect!
