Subject: Blue Gauge Needles IP: Logged
Message: Do they exist? I mean, I've seen the conversion kits for Talons and all that on EBAY, but is there a solid product or a good way to make my orange needles blue?

Message: I would be interested to find out too.. but as far as I have
seen everything like that is for cars with white needles..
because all your changing is the color of the LED, our
needles as far as I know have been orange, which wouldnt
work. It would be cool to see if you could swap new needles
on...

Message: I painted mine green, but didn't work out quite right. I think there was someone on here who did theirs blue and came out real good tho.
When i put in some new guages, i took one of the needles, scraped off the orange paint/sticker(??) from the back of the needle, then painted it the same green as my truck. also, you'll see the needles have the orange with a white on the back (i guess to make it glow). so i did the green, then some white. The problem with mine was: it looks AWESOME during the day (green with pearl), BUT, at night they just DONT GLOW!
i think the other guy who did it worked fine, so my only guess is that my green was just too dark, or maybe i put too much paint on there.
that's about all i can help...peace
