yeah the bolt pattern will match right up, you will be fine. good luck with it, i put buckets in my 93 dakota and i love it!

You could also put in some buckets from a laser or daytona, they are a little more sporty i think. And they are fairly common in the wrecking yards.

I didn't think the gen 1's were available with buckets? I just put some out of a 91 talon into my 88

I put some in from a daytona the color was perfect and they bolted right in. There are some pics on my site

What slide rails did you use when putting your daytona seats in? I've got a solid bench in my 95 dakota right now, and they mount differently than the 87 daytona seats do. The drivers seat was power if it makes any difference.
