Subject: bought suncoast creations hood IP: Logged
Message: I got my functional suncoast creations hood off ebay cheaper than getting it off there website, the guy that was selling it is shipping it from suncoast creations in florida and when i checked out it said i had to pay $115 to ship to Arkansas, when i contacted the guy he told me that price was shipped to a business and it would be $35 more to ship to my house, but it didnt say that anywhere on the page on ebay.Sorry just b!tching alittle bit but does $150 to ship seem a little high?I need you guys opinions about this maybe i'll feel a little better cause my dakota's in my uncle's body shop and i need to send the money for my hood tomorrow afternoon.

Message: Oh yea,i'm thinking this $150 to ship is so high because i'm comparing it to the $205 dollars there insurance company gave me for the stock dakota hood and it will take almost all of that money just to pay the shippind and handleing on this new hood.

Message: Shipping hoods and other items require truck freight, regular UPS/USPS/FedEx won't send items that large, and their oversized rates are enormous. I paid $170 to have my hood shipped to Nevada, but I had it shipped directly to the body shop so I wouldn't have to pay the residential fee. They're not screwing you over, that's what truck freight really costs for any hood.
