Subject: Polished Wheels Maintenance?? IP: Logged
Message: I like the look of polished wheels but does it really take two hours of polishing a month to keep them shiny?
Is there anything out there that prevents you from monthly polishing?
I understand that chrome is easier to clean but GOOD QUALITY chrome wheels are about $400 a piece and are not nearly as light as billet wheels. I want to get rid of my boat anchor R/T wheels.
Thanks

Message: well....if you want. polish the rims up till they look like chrome......then bring them to paint guy and have them clear coated.....not many people think of that.....then all u have to do is wipe them down with a damp cloth and your all set..

Message: Polish rims are cool cuz its a different look from all those chrome rims. I have the flares 2 by centerlines and i polish them like once a month. or unless i go out in style. Its messy and you have to watch the scratches with rags or chemicals you put.
