I found out that Dakotas in Brazil have E-Code headlights.
E-codes with stock-wattage bulbs will outperform DOT headlamps with any amount of wattage. I have had 80/100s (from Midnight Moose) and the only thing I get more of is glare. I have to aim the headlights so low that I lose whatever distance advantage I might have gained with more CP.
I'm going to try to get the True Untold Story about this, but I am encouraged in my quest for Truly Better Light.
