Hi, i have a 1987 dakota, 8ft. bed, with the 3.9 motor in it. I want to customize it, and the only mods i found were 2 roll pans. If any one can help me find mods that would be great, thanks.

Only made Reg. cab long beds. No Long beds have a clubcab. You might wanna get a cowl hood. I can pull up a few sites if you want. Get some new rims. AR is a good starting point. And a fiberglass bed cover is always a good addition. Later.

yeah, i found a cowl hood, and a r-t hood for it, i mite go with the r-t. I want to get a hardshell bed cover. I saw that razzi bodykit, i dont really like it. And for wheels i think Ar-23s. Or Cragar street stars. Not sure yet. Thanks for your help.

so far- i painted my grill black, made a custom background for my grill out of sheetmetal wire mesh, painted my dash black, all the trim krylon chrome, and got dodge durango bucket seats.

Slick man. Sounds like your making progress with it. The rims will make a huge difference in the truck. When I got my 90', it was a simple farm truck. Nothing nice or fancy abiout it. The first thing I did is get the rims. It changed the whole truck. It was incredible. I think you should go with 17s or something. 15s and ok for what Im into, off roading, but I wish I had gone with a 17x8 instead of a 15x7. They just look better.

the seats look sweet, the front lined up, and my dad welded a bracket for the back
came out sweet, and i got em for the best deal ever
found em on ebay, and i got out beat, then the guy emailed me and said the top bider backed out and i can have em for 85 bucks, so my dad drove me to long island and got em. The backs of the seats were cut up (theft recovery) and i contact cemented a peice of fabric over them

I know different people make drop kits. Bell tech has one I think. try calling them and seeing what they say. You could possibly get custom springs made that have a lesser arch to them. Thatd keep your ride decent and would drop your rear. Or you could get some drop shackles. Ill look around too.
What have you done to yours so far? Any mods? For a cowl hood, check out www.up22.com . They have some. I know a few others sell cowl hoods. Look on ebay for a roll pan. Seen many of them for like $60.00. Later

yea i have some stuff done i have 16 in rims and i just tinted the windows 5% and i have a jvc cd player and a bazooka tube and alarm it is a work in progress

Hey dude. Nice work so far. You say your dak is a "work in progess". Arent all of them? Ive have mine for 5 years and I still do stuff and have new project one after another all them time. right now i am trying to figure out how to move the body mount just under the doors, about 6in back so I can trim some metal to run 33s.
