Subject: Roll pan questions/ spare tire access?
IP: Logged

Message:
I recently purchased the cuda style exhaust and rollpan from mbrp. Anyway, as I was trying to put it on, I noticed that it was going to cover the spare tire access handle. Has anyone else went through this? How do you access your spare?
Also does it matter what order I put on everything? I started working on it before reading the directions and seem to be going in a totally different order. First, the directions say put the exhaust on but I had already started on the rollpan I had it painted first, directions say install it first then paint it. Then I put on the bolts on the side , directions say drill and put in screws on top first. So now I have it mounted except for the screws on top, but their is a gap between my bed and the lip on the rollpan. Am I going to be able to bend it without cracking the paint? If you can understand all this, I would enjoy your help.

well on my roll pan the guy who painted it had just drilled a hole large enough and matching up with the hole for the spare tire release....that seems to be the way everyone else does it too...
