Subject: Re-installed radio and dash vents quit
IP: Logged

Message:
This weekend I removed the radio to attach a gauge to the positive lead for the motorized antenna.

Somewhere along the way I purseueded the dash vents to quit working. I pulled the unit back out and also pulled the vent control module out but could not see any disconnected vacuum lines or wires.

Has anybody seen this before and can offer advice on how to fix this?

I have a Gen II.

TIA
-Matt

If you didn't unhook the actual vents, my guess is you cut the vacuum line that tells the A/C/heat system which vent to blow out of. Look for a small black hose that has come disconnected from some nipple. I have the 03 service manual, so I can't give you a hint as to where to look (other than where you pulled out the old radio).
