ok I have a Sir Michaels handle relocation kit and a weld on roll pan on my truck... everything was looking good till the other day I noticed a funny line up the center of the rollpan where the plate inset it... upon closer inspection it's cracked, right along the crease where the license plate inset mets up with the outter portion, not the inset side but on the visable edge... it's cracked all the way up and there are a few small cracks along the edge on the other side of the plate...
anyone else had any problems with their roll pans as far as cracking etc. Let me know... it's a bi*ch when it's welded to your truck...

Hey the Sirmichael roll pans are junk! The whole point of a roll pan never made too much sense too me. Just keep your bumper that dodge designed and it will never crack!!

I agree the bumper did have to go! The rollpan is a much cleaner and smoother look than that fugly bumper!
I have the sirmichaels and I was disapointed when I pulled it outta the box to find all the spot welds and rough edges! Why cant they just fully weld it together and smooth it out before selling them to people!
Anyhoo, I havent noticed any cracks in mine but I'll take a closer look tomorrow.

the cracks are probably just from the body shop who filled the spots around the plate box. they probably did a bad job. mine is perfect.

it looked awesome when I first got it... but now it's crap, I wouldn't buy another product from them again... that's lame you have to finish weld it...

I never saw mine cause the truck went straight to the body shop after I hydroplaned it.. But my Sir Michaels is in excellent condition and fit. Just wanted to share,,,,sorry you guys had some sucky ones.

Mine came rough but it even tells you that you'll have to do a bit of body work on it. Wasnt that bad and it looks good!
