I have a black dak and the carbonfiber look great. Not so great on silver in my opinion. The chrome are cool as long as you take the time to paint the black trim around the edge of the tail light to match the truck. Leaving the black looks soooooooo bad!

I have a silver 2002 Dakota SXT 4x4. The SXT package in 2002 came with charcoal colored fender flares, bumpers and grill. I wanted to match the silver and grey theme so I went with a set of APC carbon fiber look tail lights. They look fantastic. They look very factory because the color of the carbon fiber is very close to that of the flares and things. I think the chrome ones look to cheesy and aftermarket. The carbon fiber ones look custom factory if you know what I mean. If you did not know Dakotas you would think they are from the factory. That is the look I like. I was a little hesitant at buying a product from APC but so far they have been perfect. I sealed the crap out of the back side of the lights at all the seams and so far no leaks at all. I have had them on for a few months.
