Subject: Rims for our trucks.. please help

first off man there's not a lot of coices for us, I have a 00' R/T and a 6 on 4.5 bolt pattern is a pain to find. So far I've seen a few KMC's and AR's that will work but can someone give me some more ideas? This is going to sound nuts but I'd like a nice set of 18 or 20's that aren't chrome heh. So far I'm digging the AR Torq Thrusts but I would probly get tired of them in a month. I love the older cobra R rims, they are silver finished just like my stock R/T rims.

Anyhow, my price range is under 2k for wheels and tires, new would be great but slightly used is fine too. I've seen some hot setups on ebay but 99% of them wont work on my truck. You guys have any ideas?

Oh and if the r/t 20" replica's weren't so expensive I'd be all over them, best I could find though was $1895 plus $160 for shipping on the non-chrome r/t 20's

thanks a ton,

Bro I just got a set of AR Torq Thrust ST's for 795 shipped, the 18's. I only have 3 r/t rims, one is cracked which is why I'm getting a new setup.

Go to the source for 20" R/T rims - www.elitecustoms.com - you can get into the painted rims with tires for under $2k.

A number of other companies do make Dakota patterned wheels... www.bozeforged.com, www.introwheels.com to name just a couple.

FYI: Do a search on E-Bay for "dakota 20" - there's at least 3 sets of custom 20" rims with tires for sale right now (besides the AR models).

I think I'm going with these in 20's ... I can get them and tires for under 1800 shipped, think they would look hot? I like how simple they are and how thin the arms are, I think it will look pretty good.

your right man, then I found out that she only takes paypal. paypal is very handy for ebay and whatnot but I would never use it outside of ebay and this is what I would have had to do. My other option was to mail her a check, my truck is immobile right now so no time for that. but hey if anyone wants a set of 18x8.5 AR Torq Thrusts let me know and I'll send you her email address. They are 795.00 + 99 bones for shipping.

Anyhow, what do you guys think of the wheels above?
