Hey man, love the look with the 20s now! I have a question about your painted fender flares. Were they black before you had them painted?? What kind of prep work was done to paint them. Im going to be getting some flares for my truck, but since they dont have intense blue anymore, im going to have to buy another colour and have them painted. I just dont want them chipping after like a year of having them painted. Thanks

Well.Yes they were black..the truck didnt come with them originally so i got the kit form the dealer..had them on the truck for a while then decided to take them off ...wet-sanded them down with some 220 then painted them. I used a 3pc paint kit from the automotive store,but i didnt use the clear.I took them to a auto body shop and had them clear-coated and baked in the booth so they would have a nice gloss to them.
