Just put on the stainless wire mesh inserts today, and they look very good. Very easy to put on also. The only prob is the bottom piece is still on back order,so that will take a few more weeks to get.
As soon as I get a picture, and you want to see it,drop an e-mail to me.
Only install problem was my fault, when putting on the safety release lever,I put the bolt through the wrong way(facing the engine)and almost couldn't get the hood open!!
If you want to contact Stull their phone no. is 909-245-9789. Sorry they do not have an e-mail address on their instructions.
I don't know how much they cost retail,my cousin got them for me at cost, saved a lot, according to him. I got the inserts and 6in stainless steel rocker panels(not in yet)for $179.00,not to bad I don't think.

That sounds cool Ken.I am wanting to get some sort of insert myself but it is hard to decide on which one will look the best. They have so many styles to choose from and they are a little pricey too.I thank you got a great deal there Ken,heck I've seen just the lower insert cost that much.I would like to have a pick so either I will drop you an email or vice versa.Oh yeah, its nice to have a fellow Dakota fan from Ohio.Later!!

I found a picture of the stull grilles on this page in case someone is interested.

http://www.accessconnect.com/Aluminum_Speed_Grille.htm

I'm not endorsing that site...just look at the grille.

The one I really like though, is on the beautiful truck in the veiwer's rides photo gallery #3. It is the truck in 2nd column over, 3rd row down.

Does anyone know what brand this is?

yes it does. Very easy to do , unless you have a brain fart like I did and put the bolt in backwards, you have to face the head of the bolt toward the engine, and the threads toward the grill. Other wise you may have a panic attack like I did ,when you cant get the hood up. I had to shift the hood to the right to get it up,only about 1/4in. Live and learn.

Cool. So, I'm getting closer then. I like the way it looks on the truck in the gallery but the pic on the accessconnect site isn't doing anything for me. That grillecraft piece looks great but I want something...not so flat, I guess.

Thanks
