Subject: GenIII mirrors on Gen I? IP: Logged
Message: Does anyone know if the Gen III mirrors will fit on a Gen I? I have a 1990 and am tired of the huge 6x9in mirrors. The mounting triangle looks the same but I dont have measurements.
Or what about the older Chrysler 80s cars? I need smaller mirrors bad. Thanks.

Message: Thanks for the help man. I am just really tired of the huge mirrors I have. My truck, I guess our trucks just look alittl silly with huge mirrors being a mid sized rig. I am looking at a set on ebay. Gonna cost a bit but maybe I can sell mine to recoop so of the cost.
Were any of the 5x7s electric? Or was that just the huge ones? Thanks for you help again. By the way, I checked out your dak at sound domain. Nice ride. I just put up a site there too. Check it out if your intrested...

Message: Hey Spence, Thanks for the link. Dude your truck is really set up nice on the outside. It just looks clean. You get some V8 power and you set man. I just bought some 95 Dak sport mirrors off ebay a few days ago. Ill probably paint them blue to match my truck or at least repaint them black. Then Im gonna try to sell my 6x9s there as well. Just to remake some of the cost. Was the install easy? I looked at it yesterday, took the door panel off etc., and it doesnt seem hard at all. But thanks for the link. Later
