It shouldn't affect the ride at all unless you change the shocks.

If you're interested, I have a set of 2" blocks to sell. Never used. I bought them to install on my truck but decided to take advantage of the Hotchkis group buy before I got them installed.

The U-bolts are sized for the older 8.25" axles, if you have the 9.25" you'd need different U-bolts. Cost ya maybe $15 or $20 bucks at the parts store.

Drop me an email if you want 'em.

Make sure that you buy the steel blocks rather than the aluminum ones. The aluminum ones tend to crack when you cinch down the u-bolts or when you go over a bad bump or put a heavy load in the bed. According to the guys at DJM Suspension, the aluminum blocks are made for the import (say ricer) trucks and our Daks are too heavy for them. They make the steel blocks in various heights.

Look under your truck and check the axle. Mine has a sticker that tells axle size & ratio.
