I went down to the dealer today to price just the side skirts from the Dakota Stampede/ R/T, and for 6 pieces (reg cab) it totaled around $2000. Does this seem right, I about told the lady she had to be on something for a price that high? I could get the whole sniper kit for that and that is like 11 pieces.

no, thats right. I went to the dealer about 6 months ago and asked about the stampede kit, and they told me about 2000 also. And they told me that it would not fit on my 98'. I think they are full of it. Even if the kit didn't fit perfectly (which i'm sure it does)a little modifacation would do the trick.
Sometimes i think they have no idea what they are talking about at the dealerships, they just push the buttons.
By the way, Sniper kit is just above 2000 and it's a 13 piece kit. Later

my 2003 RT has the stampede kit on it

they raised the MSRP about $800CND (about$500 USD) because of the kit. and the dealership wants $2000 USD?????? that doesnt seem right.

Yup ..i was aquiring about the kit last time i was at the dealer...he told me there was no kit yet..have to get it indavidually...said like 700 just for one side piece..and like 300 a piece for behind the wheels...what a joke..i'd rather go with wings west or xenon

My whole idea was to think about getting the kit for just some flash, so I wouldnt have to spend all that on a sniper kit. I want to keep my flares so the xenon, and wings w kits are out. I thought that seeing how cheap the wheel flares costed I would look into the sideskirts from the stampede, what a joke.
