Alright guys, i need a little help please. right now, i've taken off my cluster gauge. i've unplugged everything from it and took it out and its sitting on my seat. I heard that u have to have some special tool to take off the needles.

is there any other way? my buddy installed white face gauges on his Dakota and he just pulled his needles off and all of them were screwed up and he had to buy a new gauge cluster, lol. what do i do? take off needles? of can i leave them on? any help would be great! thanks,
-Matt

Try looking for a plastic golf divot tool. What you are looking for is a U-shaped plastic wedge-like tool that you can use to _gently_ ease the needles off the posts. Note that you should ease it up on one side of the post, then switch to the other side and ease it up some. They should then come off the posts. The divot tool should look like a U.
