 Subject: Center Console CD Changer

Has anyone put a CD changer in their center console. I have a 97' Dakota Reg. Cab with Bucket Seats and want to know if I can fit my Alpine 6 disc changer in the console. The room is obviously there, but how can I mount it in there? Chrysler makes a cd changer mount for the console, will that work? What has anyone else done? Pictures would be VERY helpful.

I installed a Blaupunkt Alaska in my dash and
then installed the Blaupunkt A08 10CD changer
in my center console with room left over in console to keep papers and some small stuff in there.I ws able to stand it upright.I used the
standard brackets from Blaupunkt removed my console from truck to be able to do the mounting
holes in bottom of console and to notch the bottom to run the cable to the headunit.System sounds great with the factory infinity speakers
plenty of bass also
