Look i have no idea about amps! I was wondering if this is a good amp for the subs that come in the mtx thunderform box?
Also what kind of amps did yall use for your mtx thunderform enclouser?

andy,
i got an mtx thunder series amp, thats 500 watts, forgot the name of it. but i would not go with sony xplod, just my opinion. have heard some bad stuff about them, plus they didnt get too good of reviews in some car audio mags. i mounted mine under the passenger seat, ran the wire under the carpet, looks professionally installed. but i have had no problems with overheating, i drove with my friends from fl. to s. carolina (7hr drive) with the system bumping the whole time, and no probs.

That is the exact amp I am running right now...It sounds great to me. It is nice and small too, so mounting it under the drivers seat was not a problem...Im sure there are alot better amps out there, but this one works just fine....I only have the gain at about 75%
