Im trying to do something about how far the gap is between each shift. I guess im used to driving a car but is there anyway i can shorten the distance between each shift in my 5 speed.

Hurst makes a shifter for V6 and V8 trucks up to 2000. One for the AX-15 and another for the NV3500.

Yea, that Hurst Billet Plus Shifter is supposed to reduce the throw (distance) from 1st to 2nd by like 4 inches! SOUNDS AWESOME! i wanted one, but they're alittle too much for me. i THINK summit has em, not sure tho. Peace
