 Subject: 265/70R15 on stock 1999 4x2 dakota

Will 265/70R15 tires fit (with room to spare) on
a 1999 4x2 Dakota? I have the tire and handle package so I have 15x8 rims. As many know, the stock 255/65R15 tires have limited choices. Besides I would like a little taller tire, but I don't want
to modify the truck.

Yes they will man. I love them on mine, they just cost more than the factory specified size. Absolutely no rubbing or even close, lots of room.

Thanks for the response. There does seem to be plenty of room. The diameter increases by 1.5 inches; so only extend the outside edge by 3/4 of an inch.
Any body else try this or some other size?
