I've got a 96 dak with a bench seat, and I'm picked up some buckets sets for a good price. At any rate, has anyone swapped a bench for buckets, and how hard was it? What sorta hardware am I gonna need to pick up. Thanks.

I swapped the 60/40 out of my '96 Dak for '99 buckets. I used the original mounts and made brackets for under the seats. It was pretty easy, and all I needed was some strips of steel, and some nuts, bolts and washers.

The gauge pod came with the supercharger, which was built for a '98. It fits just fine. I got the Hurst shifter off ebay, so it was much cheaper than usual. The installation was pretty easy, just make sure to set the stops correctly.

I also have a 96 that came with a bench. I first swaped it with neon buckets, than switched to honda civic buckets. it's pretty easy, only a couple hours of work. if you don't have anyone that can make brackets break out some vicegrips and bend the buckets mounts to fit. drill a couple of holes and you'll be on your way.
