 Subject: 3" Drop going to 5"?

I have my dakota that is droped 3" now. I am going to get some 17" rims soon but i was wondering about lowering the truck another 2 inches with the western chasis drop spindles. I dont have stock tireson the 15" now.

no one makes a dropped spindle for the 97-01 daks. the do make a dropped A-arm you can get.
as for a 5/7 drop, it will work, but with your 15's your frame will scrape on A LOT of stuff. i have a 4/6 on mine and with a 205/60/15 i can throw sparks on the freeway. you will get a little more clearence with your 17's.

Haha thats where your wrong..Check out wester chasis man. THey make a 2" drop spindel for daks. But thanks for the info on the other stuff.

No you are wrong, they DO NOT make lowered spindles for the 97+ dakota's. They can't, because of the way the ball joints are.

hey tickle me (elmo), it's pretty obvious that you dont know the first thing about YOUR OWN dak, so if you are not sure about something let someone that knows post a reply. i dont think it is fair for someone to ask for help and people like you who know nothing or little to nothing answer with the wrong info. that just screws everyone up.
