 Subject: question for ppl w/ vertical bedstripe

anyone w/ one of these on a 97+ dak i have a few questions...
first, how wide is the stripe in inches??
second, is there a smaller 1/4" pinstripe on each side of the main stripe??
and third, how far down the bed does the stripe go, all the way down , or does it stop a few inches from the very bottom of the bedside??
thanks to anyone who can help me out, i want to get my local graphic shop to make this stripe for my dak,, just got my tonneau on today and really want to get this stripe

answers the length and pinstripe, but i cant judge how wide the main stripe is w/ pictures, someone please take the ten seconds to measure yours and i will pay you 25 cents w/ paypal to show my gratitude.....

Even though my Dakota is a Gen II The Stripe on mine is 12 wide total with a 1/2 inch space and a 1/2 inch tape outer stripe. Most I have seen are about 8 and 10 inches wide on the Gen III.Hopefully this helps you out

hey,
mine is 10" wide with DODGE cut out of it. In the middle of the stripe on the tonneau is a cut out of the ram head without the diamond shape around it. Be creative and make it look or have whatever cutout you want. I saw one in a magazine that was a 6" stripe with a 1" space and then a 3" stripe, it was black on a red truck and it looked mint.
