Here is a link to a few shots of my newly finished dash components. What do you guys think? Too much? Too little? or just right?

Looks sweet. I do have some questions for you. First, is that a carbon fiber gauge cover or did you add the carbon to an aftermarket cover? and secondly how did you take the two small vents out of your dash (one vent is shown painted in the second pic on your webpage so I'm assuming you did the other one on the drivers side.)

Wow, you have a push-button starter? I always thought those were so cool.

The Carbon Fiber guage cover is made by APC. Can be purchased on Ebay or on Stylinconcepts.com. Both vents are painted and let me tell you they are no picnic to get out. They are attached to plastic hoses in the dash. It takes a lot of work a some balls to yank on 'em. But, they are study and should not break.
The Dude- Are you serious? I have gotten a lot of grief about that starter from some people on this board. But, hey I like it!

How did you get the carbon fiber on the dash? Is it like a self adhesive sheet or is the whole piece a replacement? Looks good by the way.

Wraithdakrt,

Tell me more about the push-button starter? What prevents someone from starting the truck besides locking the doors? What I mean is do you still need the ignition key?

The carbon fiber on the dash panel is the fake stuff. It is a vinyl sheet. I just cleaned the area really well and applied the vinyl. Used a heat gun on the corners.

The push-button starter will not activate unless the Key is in the "on" position of the ignition. So, that is a nice safety feature.

dude, whoever gave you crap about the push button starter is a little bitch. that is tight dude and if you like it who cares what others think. Also i like the gauge panel. i need some opinions though, how do you guys think it would look with a little lip on top of each guage? you know like on vipers and other really expensive and sporty cars. i was thinkin of fabricating a pair to see how it looks but i dunno if i should waste my time. thanx for any inputs.

Yeah...the rims are on. If you go to Dakotausa.com and go to the MidAtlantic Forum and under the title of Norfolk Meet Pictures...
http://www.dakotausa.com/forums/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1464. There is a single pic of the back of the truck. Working on getting some more shots up today.
