Message: For 6ft. bed. It came off my '96 but it fits all Dakota 6ft. beds according to the rep at Checkmate. Underside is painted, too. Save yourself many hours of prep work and painting costs. Wrong color? Sand it down and spray it, it will be very smooth. You can see it here:
