600 is kinda pricey, the refelxxion cowl hood is 299.00 brand new + 100 to get it painted. im in michigan so S H might be pricey, also how does the suncoast look like? ram air or cowl?

$399 for a painted/installed reflexxions? Where the heck is the place doing that? Last I saw the reflexxions cost $379 + $50-150 freight + $200-400 to have installed/painted.

i have a clearance thing from truck performance to get one for $299. it would be shipped to my body shop guy for $40, and he would prime/paint it for 100 or less, hes a great guy. i would install it with his help- free.

I concur... I love my Suncoast hood, but if you can truly get ANY quality aftermarket hood purchased, shipped, mounted, and painted for under 400 bones, then jump on it unless you just don't like the way the hood looks. Your prices are NOT the norm by any means. The Reflexxions model is a very nice hood - I personally just like the way the Suncoast looks better.
The Suncoast normally costs $695, plus $100 for the heat extractor option (if you have it), not to mention the cost for prep/paint... $600 to swap onto another black truck isn't too unreasonable to ask but used hoods typically don't actually sell for that close to retail. You never know though, I've seen some used items sell on E-Bay for far more than they would cost retail if someone did the research.

not any hood, just the reflexxion cowl hood. the hood will go onhold b/c i have to get a 3/5 drop first and a M1 2bbl - (fixes my belly pan gasket problem too)
