Message: I have had ARE lids on all my trucks for the past 8 years. they are great products with exceptionaly good paint jobs. I think they have a website so you can locate a dealer.

Message: ARE lids are great products and their paint jobs are fantastic....I have one on my 2000 Dakota. Depending on where you go and what options you want, they'll run you somewhere in the ballpark of $700 painted for the LSII series lid. Their website is www.4are.com
GOOD LUCK!

Message: I've had a LEER 700 for about a year and have only good things to say for it. Aerodynamic lines like the hood in reverse. Easy to use. Installed and color matched was $760. Searched for about half a year until I found it and consider it the best value for my money,...D

Message: Dbbaker and TIM,
The warranty on my LEER 700 is all-inclusive, including paint, for as long as I own the cover ['lifetime']. The only parts not covered are the latches.
Have you owned one and had a different warranty provided to you, or have you dealt with a "less than honorable" distributor?
By the way, I have had no problems with the paint on mine and I must leave it out all the time. [No garage space],...D

Message: Tim,
Sorry your experience was a bad one. All I can go by is my experience to date, which is positive.
When were you a dealer, for how long, in what area of the country, store-front or 'garage', multi-line? Just to satisify my curiosity.
Thanks,...D

Message: Well, Tim, all I can attest is I have had no problems, and I've recently met a number of fellows with LEER 700 tops and they've had no complaints.
Might be it is simply because it is the 700 series, or LEER has 'seen the light' and corrected production problems.
I'm happy with mine, but appreciate your heads-up.
