i am putting on some clears this week,i know the laws are for amber,think they make red ones that fits our truck?if anyone knows hit me with a part #.i think apc makes some.red would be cool?

Are you talking about the bulbs for the clears? If so check out Midnight Moose.com, just looked yesterday, they have the 194 bulbs in regular (colored halogen), and a few differant colors of the 194 LED option, the LED bulbs won't be as noticable as the OEM 194 bulbs..

if you're talking about the turn signal bulbs, i don't think that would be a good idea. but there is the side bulb and you can get a few different colors of that one at wal-mart.

I got a pack of 6 (3157 i think) off ebay for $10.00 a while back. Kept them on my truck for about 2 years & never faded. But i got some cheap APC 194 side markers and they turned yellow in a couple of days.

nossteve- I don't know where you are located at but here in MO you can hae anycolor bulb cover in there but red or blue cause I have green in mine and I had a cop ask me how I did it cause he thought they were cool lookin and told me that the state highway patrol told him that those were the only two colors that were illeagle. but if you still want red bulbs or sumpin I know Autozone carries gel bulb covers that I will swear by cause I have never had a prob with them and if you change your mind about the color or heaven forbid you get rid of the truck you dont have to buy different bulbs just slip off the bulb cover and get you a different pack for like $2.

I got pulled over in cali for haveing blue corner bulbs. The cop said that i can have anything that was white or amber. LoL. O well, didnt give me a ticket just told me to fix it. It was at 1 am in the morning, cops have nothin to do so they pull lil kids like me over for the stupidest things. O well.......

blackdak20. the reason they pull us kids over at like 1:00am in the mornign is for possible dui stops or a larger crime. it gives do cause to have a look at things.

i agree with what conig just said. it gived the po-po a reason to pull you over and it will give them a chance to possible find something bigger.
it happened to me. i got pulled over for headlight covers on my cougar. and i was somewhat drunk. i was just over the legal limit. i didnt get charged, but they towed my car and suspended my lic. for 24 hours. i was completely honest with the cop and told him i was gonna be over the limit. it was the start of his shift and he was in a good mood i guess, that why he didnt charge me. i had to pay to get my car outta the impound, and a fine for my headlight covers.

Very true but it was campbell, ca police and they have nothing else to do so they pull you over for the stupest reasons. O well, he did give me a ticket so i just put my white bulbs back in, its legal now. But he could have gotten my for my tinted windows, no front license plate and so on. So im not gonna complain.
