Underbody kit installs easily on the newer Dakotas -- plenty of room up underneath. You might consider a StreetGlow Gold Series kit with two additional 12" tubes to round out the glow a little toward the back, cause it's just a tad longer than the average Honda Civic. :)
Neon license plate frames under the seats and contrasting color 6, 9, or 12-inch tubes under each side of the dash make for a nice effect.
Hottwirez can be put around the headliner, dash bezel, and the inside surface of the doors (the "armrest" area).
Also, the center horizontal divider in the grille shell is a good place for two 12" tubes.

Do you know what a Black Light Neon would look like against bright (shiny) stainless steel? I am afraid it may look purple.
What about plain white neon on stainless? Any ideas would help.
Oh , have you figured out the l.e.d blinker problem yet?

Message: kennungesser~
pics are on the way.
as for the neon q...
the black light neon won't look all that purple, however black light neons aren't that bright. The way you described it sounds like you wanna put them on the outside. It would be cool but not very noticeable,(and you do want people to notice):)
My experierce with white neon isn't so hot either. They are farely bright and will light up any area nicely. In my opinion white doesn't look all that great. However, the thing i'd be worried most about, would that if the tubes were in any position that could be seen, the cops could give you a hard time. They can be real dicks around here when it comes to "multiple white lights", i think youo can only have 6 or something like that on the front of your car. Good luck.
Oh yeah. i found i company that supposedly make a product that is suppose to slow down the signal speed to the light you tap it on to. I have one ordered just to see if it works. I'll let you know if it does.
Got neon questions? Ask me. :)

Message: Cool , waiting for the pics!!
Oh and I got a ticket once for having more than 5 white lights on at the same time. 3am and he nailed me! Headlights , small drving lights , and big round ones on the bumper. This was on my '89 Dak , and it cost me $85!!!! Thanks for reminding me!! LOL.

Message: Has anybody tried putting neons in the wheel wells? I have seen pics of other trucks were they have underbody's and lights in the wheel wells as well.
also can the streetglow neons found at a store like advanced, autozone , or pepboys that say interior accents be used outside? also it looks like it would be easy to mount neons for the back wheel wells just above the fender flare on the inside but were would I mount them in the front? theres not really a lip to hide the bulb to keep it from being seen.
heres an example below. she states she used 10 inch tubes but I can't find any that are for exterior use.

Message: Hmm...lots of good ideals here, man you guys are making me want neons and sense my trucks getting lowered it would look pretty good with them on there i think,Hmm...neons in the fender wells although it sounds like it would look pretty kewl but how could you put them in so a big rock won't get thrown up there and bust it out.

Message: Putting them in the fender well in the back wouldn't be a problem as theres a lip you could mount them too that would provide some protection. In the front I havn't quite figured it out yet.
the link I posted for the expo above if you go to other pics she dogs that thing offorad. I'm gonna try and email her and ask if she ever breaks them.
