I've got one too. Mine is for a '99 5.9L Fed. I got it used and apparently my dak is missing some kind of security thingy that the dealership said would be about $700 and then it would work on my dak. Going with the HPIII instead.

The Mopar Computers are year and engine size specific. I have yet to see one that works on both the 318 and 360 for all 97- 2000 Daks. They don't even have a part number for it on the listings.
