Has anyone out there installed a stillen bumper cover? If so can you please tell me how you installed the fog lights? I bought a cover today and noticed that there is no molded bracket on it like the stock one has.

You've got a 2 piece stock front bumper. The Stillen is a one-piece cover that fits over the top of them both (don't remove them!) and secured with the stock bolts on the insides of the front wheelwells and some double stick tape on the front.

You don't have to mess with the foglights. Just leave them as they are, and when the cover is fitted and secured, the foglights look like they're built in.

Test fit the cover (you'll need to mark the position of the bolt holes so they can be drilled out anyway) and you'll see what I mean. Simple and easy.

One other question about the cover. Do I have to cut out the vertical bars that are in the bottom opening of the stock cover, for the stillen cover to fit all of the way in?

I would heavily recommend notching the stillen cover so you can retain the 3 vertical bars. If you cut those 3 bars out then there's nothing left to use to attach lower billet grilles to. My body shop ignored my instructions for this and I had to MacGyver a bracket for my grille, pissed me off something fierce.

Thanks SinCity R/T for your reply. Can you give me some advice on how to notch the cover so it doesn't look MacGyverd? Also, do you know of a company that sell's a billet grill for the opening ,thin enough to fit? I have the optional tranny cooler and doesn't leave much room to work with.

i see alot of pictures of stillen bumper covers with a billet grill insert without the 4 bars.

SinCity, Does stillen sell an insert that fits without the 4 factory bars?

i like how yours looks without the bars, and i have an sxt anyway, so id have to get the original bars painted, and then the new bumper painted to match my blue truck.

if anybody knows this, please let me know.

I have no desire to get a ss speed grille, i want billet, and i know that i would need the 4 bars if i wanted ss. ANybody have any suggestions.

does anybody know if any billet grilles fit the ss genii valence???

thanks

-e
