Message: Hows the noise level:) In cab noise high with droning? I have the 50 series and cabin noise is just right although I would like a little more Flowmaster NOISE when I step on it. Exhaust looks good, I got a chrome tip put on for $50 and it lasted about 3months before rust started, after only 4.5 months is completly rusty. The place that put it on said they would take care of it, But I am gonna pick-up a stainless tip to use so rust will not be an issue, the muffler dude said they would install the SS tip for no charge if I brought it in, so that's cool. Just gotta find and actual SS tip, most auto stores carry the cheap chrome ones like I have now.
Flowmaster cat back w/15 inch chrome tip, Volant Intake, Poweraid TB Spacer, Splitfire Plugs, full synthetic fluids 3 inch body/1.5 inch Block Lift, 305 70-16 X-Terrains on AR Terons, Pro Comp ES9000's Grizzly double/single rollbar with (6) Hella's, Manik Nerfs, Line-X, Hard Work & $$$$$$$$$$

Message: The in-cab noise is not bad at all. With the stereo on, you can't even hear it. As far as outside noise, I too would like a little louder Flowmaster sound. Before this setup, I had dual Flowmaster 40 series mufflers and it was not loud at all. And I made sure I got the stainless steel tips this time so I wouldn't be replacing them as quick.

Message: I don't have any pics of mine, but just wondering if the Flowmaster Delta 40 series will have a heavy or light drone to it at highway speeds. I have a straight through glasspack on right now, and I also have a Flowmaster Delta 40 ready to put on, but only if it will help with the droning, I find the glasspack to loud inside at highway speeds for more than an hour, which is frequent. Also just wondering if anyone else has noticed that when you replaced the exhaust, that the truck takes further to stop using the same brake pressure, I guess it's because the backpressure from the exhaust isn't helping anymore. Just curious.
Thanks

Message: my friends delta 40 sounds NICE. its loud going up, loud coming down, but when cruising in town or on the highway at a set rpm it is atcually just a little louder than stock.

Message: 93dakman is right. It sounds great accelerating, but really mellows out at an even speed. I changed my setup from 2 Flowmaster 40 series to 1 single in/dual out Flowmaster 40 series and it sounds the same at highway speeds but sounds much more aggressive when you put your foot in it.

Message: I agree Flowmasters do sound really nice and I was thinking about putting one on...but instead I went to my local muffler shop to see what they had...and for a lot less he hooked me up with something called a "Power-Pak"...it's pretty much like a glass-pak except it's twice if not three times bigger around...and it has a hell of a lot more packed inside to cut down that crappy glass-pak poping...I've had it for about 4 months now and love it...it's loud enough on acceleration to set off car alarms (haha, fun thing to do)...but it quiets down once up to speed..and as far as the custom exhaust part of it...I have 3" chrome slash-cut tips sticking out the bed corners...
