Message: Good stuff , I have used clay for years , It gets all the dirt/fallout/metal ect out of the paint and actually makes the paint last longer !

Message: Lee,
It is just that, a bar of "clay". Not sure exactly what compound they use, but it is pliable, kind of like "silly putty". Meguier's is the only manufacturer I know. I've only been able to find it at Pep Boys, for $19.99. You will find it in the wax and detail asle. You basically wash your truck, then using detailers' spray (NO WATER!!), you soak a 2ft x 2ft section of your paint, then gently rub the clay bar until the surface feels smooth as glass. Then, wipe off and buff. After you are done, put on a nice coat of your favorite car wax, and, voala....smooth as glass and shines like crazy!!! It is not harmful to paint, nor clear coats, definitely worth the cash!!!
Oh by the way, a bit of a labor of Love, took me 4 hours to get the job done!!
Cheers!!

Message: I actually use Mother's Clay bar system. They are the original company that started the "Clay bar" system and it works awesome. I would recommend it to anybody.

Message: I was unfortunate enought to get overspray ( from a building being painted next to where I park at work) on my intense blue 01 I used the mothers clay bar, took it all off no problem and was pretty easy to do also.
