Subject: any pics of exhaust with 4 tips? IP: Logged
Message: Anyone have dual exhaust with dual tips (with a total of four tips)? Thinking about doing this and just wanted to see what it would look like.
Thanks

Message: no pics on a dak. I have a friend with a 2001 supercrew 4x4 with 4 tips 2 on either side behind wheels at a 45 degree andgle. looks bad ass in my opinion. If he didn'e have them i would do the same setup.

Message: YES. I put Dual Hooker tips on my Dak and have them going thru my Roll Pan.

I love the look, and with the additional resonance the sound is great. My Dak is a V6, the Tips are 2.5" inlet and 2x3" outlets. Each hole is about 6.5" across and 3.25" in hieght.
NOTE: I have since replaced the hooker tips with Dual 'all Stainless' tips (the hookers rusted off within a year!)
Feel free to email me with questions.

Kevin

Message: Hey Kevin, where did you get that heat mat for the hood with the Dodge logo on it?

Message: The heat mat I got from the dealer..It's the same mat they install stock on the R/Ts and is called a 'silencer'.
I forget the exact cost, but I believe it was round $50. The RAM head is embossed, so I brush painted it yellow to match the truck. Looks good when it is clean...but it doesn't take long to get dirty, particularly from the fan debris.
