Subject: center portion of bench seat IP: Logged
Message: i have the seat that is like two buckets and a flip up console/armrest/seat and i was wondering how to get just that center part out. do i have to take my seats out with it first or can i just unbolt the center part alone.

Message: Hmmm..(same set-up..took them out for racing buckets)....if i remember correctly..you can just unblot the center section...be patient cause there are like pins that hold the two brackets together

Message: THE EASIEST WAY IS TO ATLEAST UNBOLT THE SEATS AND THEM YOU CAN FOLD THEN FORWARD. ONCE THIS IS DONE THE CENTER SECTION IS VERY EASY TO REMOVE

Message: yeah its much easier to just unbolt the seats and tilt them forward. much much much easier that way

Message: i just done this to mine unbolt the seats and there are bolts underneathe but then there are little bracket i just took a hammer and beat mine off

Message: Mine was riveted together as well as bolted. You can drill the rivets out and separate the console.
