Anybody w/the 4.7 have a shaker hood from proglass?? Is the air box any different than those on the other v8's??? I'd love to hear about it, or see pics.. it may be a while, but i WILL convince my wife how cool they are!

there is no shaker hood yet available for the 4.7l. the 5.2 and the 5.9 have different air boxes than the 4.7l. believe me i have a 4.7 i have looked.

There is a shaker for the 4.7 I have been touch with Terry at Pro-glass and it was released last month. We currentley have a special price for members of Dakota USA and there are several 4.7 shakers on the road. From what I was told it is a little different that the other V-8s because of the TB and it uses the stock filter or you can get the K&N

I emailed Proglass, and assume it was Terry who responded, but he did say that there is in fact a 4.7 shaker hood. I was wondering, with the different air boxes how it looked and worked... and how the install works. Chris, if I may be so bold, whats the price for Dakota USA members?? You can email me w/price if you'd rather. I'm not a member, but thats not saying I wouldn't like to be. Dan Machine- it looks like Chris has our answer!!

I HAVE ONE AND THE MAIN DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A 4.7 AND 5.2 IS THAT THE 4.7 THROTTLE BODY IS HORIZONTAL AND THE 5.2 IS VERTICAL LIKE A CARBURATOR. I DO NOT KNOW HOW THE 3.9 T/B SITS ON THE INTAKE BUT EMAIL TERRY A PROGLASS PROFINSH.COM AND HE WILL GLADLY HELP YOU OUT!! MIKE THERE IS ALSO A DAKOTA OWNER!!!!!!
