Subject: Euro Tail Colors?

Message:
I am thinking about buying the chrome tailights. Here is my question...The black ring surrounding the light, does anyone who has experience with these think they could be painted white to match my truck? I was just wondering if I could dis-assemble them and paint them? Tell me what you think. Thanks

I was also wondering the same thing. In the new March "Truckin" there is a picture of the APC ones that someone painted that outer black strip to match the Intense Blue Dakota.

I have the Carbon Fiber Altezza tail lights and the Black border is actually under the clear cover of the lenses. I suppose with some careful painting, you could paint the outside of the lense where the black shows thru to make it match your Dak paint...my guess however is that it would look 'ghetto'.

Maybe the non-carbon fibers are diffent however??
